Dear Beda,
Last Sept. 18, 2024, the SPSA COPP ( Council of Past Presidents), the current governing body of SPSA, approved the continuation of the SPSA, PCS and WSF- sponsored Rural Surgery Outreach Program in the Philippines.
The SPSA COPP approved holding another 3-month program in the district hospitals of Sorsogon as requested by Dr. Robert Chacon, medical director and Chief of Surgery, Sorsogon, Provincial Hospital.
Kindly submit to me, Dr. Ed Barcelona, SPSA Treasurer and Surgical Mission Co-Chair, the names of the general surgeon and anesthesiologist selected by the PCS SURE Commission for the next Rural Surgery Outreach Program in Sorsogon. I will transfer the necessary funds( $7,500.00) to PCS Foundation as soon as you provide me the names of the chosen surgeon and anesthesiologist , their CV and the planned start date of the program in Sorsogon.
